RTDS - 4 The Raptor Ridge half marathon is an out-n-back course that begins with 4.5 miles of flat and fast jeep road that winds east towards the San Diego Safari Park and Raptor Ridge. The single track up Raptor Ridge is completely doable for stronger runners. Runners who are not as strong should expect to “do some hiking” up to the top. At the top you are rewarded by views of the entire valley. October is a gorgeous time of year and the view at the top of the ridge is impressive. As you continue down the other side of Raptor Ridge you really make up time. Lean into the hill and run fast down the opposite side as you make your way back into the flats and towards your turnaround point. Visit Website

Temecula Half Marathon- October 26 2014 Temecula, Ca.
RTDS - 4 The Temecula 5K course travels through scenic back country roads, while the Half Marathon out-and-back takes runners past vineyards and farmland. Both hilly, the 5K is an easier course, while the Half Marathon offers a hard (hilly and hot) challenge. Remember, dirt roads are better on your knees. Temperatures are expected to be chilly at the start for this fall race, heating up to the 90s by midday. Bring cash if you want to drink a little extra. RTDS - 1 When creating this course we had one thing in mind. Beauty. We can’t guarantee a PR for you on our rugged 5k or 1/2 marathon course, but we can guarantee that you will ENJOY your run! You will experience nothing but views during this race. With wildlife all around you, you will still need to stay focused because it IS after all a race! Make sure you bring some shoes that can get dirty because you will mainly be on trail. This course will wrap around the lake, looping back to the finish line. You can count on some gradual rolling hills, but nothing to extreme. Because this race is on dirt trail, our space is limited and we plan on filling up. So what are you waiting for? RTDS - 1 The 15th Annual Silver Strand Half Marathon & 5K is Sunday, November 16, 2014. Run along the Strand from Coronado to Imperial Beach! Coronado is located across the bridge from downtown San Diego. Imperial Beach is located 20 miles south of downtown San Diego. The half marathon course is open to runners and walkers. RTDS - 1 Start / Finish will be at the corner of Calle Tecate / Camarillo Ranch rd, just off Flynn Rd in Camarillo business park area. This course is over the mostly flat Camarillo bike path and surrounding neighborhood streets. Slow lane of Adolfo, Mission Oaks, and Flynn will be coned off for runner safety.

Operation Jack Marathon & Half- December 26, 2014 Playa Del Ray, Ca.
RTDS - 1 Its mission is to encourage parents, relatives and friends of those struggling with autism to find a positive outlet by leading an active lifestyle that promotes awareness and raises funds for autism-related charities. Founder Sam Felsenfeld launched fundraising and awareness efforts by running 61 full marathons and two ultra marathons in 2010 and now works on a volunteer basis to develop programs to encourage participation nationwide. Through 2012, the Operation Jack Autism Foundation and Operation Jack Marathon have grossed approximately $180,000.
The race was created out of necessity to complete the the 2010 Operation Jack schedule and was intended to be a one-time event. Due to overwhelmingly positive feedback, it has become an annual race benefitting the Operation Jack Autism Foundation.

RTDS - 2 This is a point-to-point race. Race begins in Rancho Penasquitos and heads South on Carmel Mountain Rd. The only real major hill is in the beginning at about mile 1.5...piece of cake! Then all runners travel 9 miles down the 56 Bike Path enjoying spectacular views and a gentle rolling downhill course.
