Bidwell Classic Half Marathon

RTDS - 2 The Chico Running Club hosts fun runs/walks for members and the Chico community, and organizes foot races for participants from all over California.

Online registration closes at 11:59 pm on Monday February 24, 2014. The last day to register is Friday, February 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during packet pickup at Fleet Feet, 241 Main Street, Downtown Chico.

Every pre-registered participant has their choice of a technical shirt or hat. The hats are one-size-fits-all. The shirts are unisex. You may purchase an additional shirt and/or hat for $15 each with your registration, through February 15.
Entrants registering after February 15 receive hats while supply lasts. Shirts will not be available to order after February 15, but both shirts and hats will be available for sale at packet pickup and on race morning while supplies last.

The 11th annual Run Rocklin will be held Sunday, April 6 at Johnson-Springview Park in Rocklin. Our half-marathon offers a unique combination of a gentle start, up-and-down terrain, rolling hills and a flat fast finish. People have been asking us to add a half-marathon for years. It’s a good time to expand Run Rocklin.

Since 2004, Run Rocklin has provided a top-notch running event for Rocklin and the surrounding communities. The event has benefited the Matt Redding Foundation and Rocklin’s local schools since 2007. The event has given over $100,000 and is on course for a record donation in 2014

The Sustainable Sports Foundation donates all proceeds to give as many children as possible from low-income families in our community the opportunity to learn to swim and be safe in the water.

Our family-friendly event (Kids FREE Fun Run starts at 11am) is also environmentally friendly as we strive for zero waste and a carbon neutral footprint. Both the 5K and 10K distances are walker friendly and all three distances boast beautiful views of the bay!

Point Pinole proposed course map. A picture perfect waterfront course, the parks trails are fairly flat with a few rolling hills which will make a great p.r. Located where the East Bay shoreline turns from running south towards Berkeley and Oakland to running eastwards, inland. It thus offers superb views across the bay in all directions, towards San Francisco to the southwest, Mount Tamalpais and the Marin Headlands to the northwest, and inland across San Pablo Bay to the north and east. Lake Tahoe Marathon & Half

RTDS - 4 Arguably the most beautiful marathon in the world, the Lake Tahoe Marathon takes you from Tahoe City (North Shore) to Pope Beach (South Shore) - caressing the West Shore of the Lake along the route. The first 12 miles are surprisingly flat and fast. At mile 12 you hit the first of three climbs (Cat 5 climb) which will take you to Rubicon Bay where the Half Marathon runners will be eagerly waiting. You can pick up the pace with your new running buddies and enjoy a 200 ft descent before ascending up to DL Bliss State Park (Cat 4 climb). Fall Showdown Trail Half Marathon

RTDS - 3.5 The Half Marathon is an out and back course. There will be 30 % pavement and the rest on trails, with loads of scenery. After mile 5 you will have the challenge of running up to and across Briones Reservoir and then back home to the park. There are plenty of bathrooms for all. Picnic areas with tables, lawn play area, playgrounds, even fishing dock and boat rental. Spend the day at the Reservoir. It is a one of a kind recreation area. Boat Rentals, Fishing Equipment, Hiking Trails, and Beautiful Waterfront Scenery are available at the finish line for a day of fun and pleasure. Visit Website

Napa Half Marathon

RTDS - 2.5 A Half Marathon that starts and finishes at Skyline Park and winds through scenic Napa County with beautiful vineyards and spectacular vistas throughout the entire course.

The course starts at Skyline Park and travels north on 4th Avenue and then continues north on 3rd Avenue to Olive Hill Lane and Hagen Road. The course then loops back on 1st Avenue to Coombsville Road with an additional loop on North Road. The final portion of the course returns on south of 4th Avenue back to Skyline Park. Almond Bowl Half Marathon

RTDS - 2 The Chico Running Club hosts fun runs/walks for members and the Chico community, and organizes foot races for participants from all over California.

A substantial portion of the race entry fees go to the local high school running programs. When you participate in the Almond Bowl, you are supporting local student athletes.

Half Marathon & Marathon: The course begins on south park drive and heads towards Manzanita Avenue. Runners will go UNDER Manzanita (there is a new path that goes under the road along the creek) and come out on the other side going toward 5-Mile. They will follow the green path (it is parallel to Centennial Avenue) to the levee where they will turn left and continue on the levee until it comes out at Wildwood Rd. At Wildwood Rd. runners will turn right and stay on the road (which turns into Upper Park Rd.) all the way back to Day Camp.
