Online registration closes at 11:59 pm on Monday February 24, 2014. The last day to register is Friday, February 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during packet pickup at Fleet Feet, 241 Main Street, Downtown Chico.

Every pre-registered participant has their choice of a technical shirt or hat. The hats are one-size-fits-all. The shirts are unisex. You may purchase an additional shirt and/or hat for $15 each with your registration, through February 15.
Entrants registering after February 15 receive hats while supply lasts. Shirts will not be available to order after February 15, but both shirts and hats will be available for sale at packet pickup and on race morning while supplies last.

Giant Half Marathon

RTDS - 1 Half Marathon Time Limit: Please be prepared to turnaround at a location other than the half marathon's respective turnaround point if instructed by race staff. Runners who do not maintain a 15:00 minute/mile pace MAY be instructed to turn around and head back to the Finish Line to accommodate road openings mandated by the City of San Francisco. Any participants who do not maintain pace proceed at their own risk, will be required to use sidewalks adjacent to the course, and must abide by stoplights and pedestrian traffic laws. If you happen to be on the course after the required pace time, we will do everything in our power to keep the finish line open a bit longer if possible. Visit Website

RTDS - 1 A picture perfect waterfront course, the parks trails have gentle rolling hills with a variety of terrain (paved and packed dirt) which will make a great p.r. for your girlfriend brigades. Located where the East Bay shoreline turns from running south towards Berkeley and Oakland to running eastwards, inland. It thus offers superb views across the bay in all directions, towards San Francisco to the southwest, Mount Tamalpais and the Marin Headlands to the northwest, and inland across San Pablo Bay to the north and east. The course will be marked with signs,flour, ribbon and course monitors at tricky areas. Fall Showdown Trail Half Marathon

RTDS - 3.5 The Half Marathon is an out and back course. There will be 30 % pavement and the rest on trails, with loads of scenery. After mile 5 you will have the challenge of running up to and across Briones Reservoir and then back home to the park. There are plenty of bathrooms for all. Picnic areas with tables, lawn play area, playgrounds, even fishing dock and boat rental. Spend the day at the Reservoir. It is a one of a kind recreation area. Almond Bowl Half Marathon

RTDS - 2 The Chico Running Club hosts fun runs/walks for members and the Chico community, and organizes foot races for participants from all over California.

A substantial portion of the race entry fees go to the local high school running programs. When you participate in the Almond Bowl, you are supporting local student athletes.

Half Marathon & Marathon: The course begins on south park drive and heads towards Manzanita Avenue. Runners will go UNDER Manzanita (there is a new path that goes under the road along the creek) and come out on the other side going toward 5-Mile. They will follow the green path (it is parallel to Centennial Avenue) to the levee where they will turn left and continue on the levee until it comes out at Wildwood Rd. At Wildwood Rd. runners will turn right and stay on the road (which turns into Upper Park Rd.) all the way back to Day Camp.
